The German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), through its project ProPFR (Promotion d’une Politique Foncière Responsable), recruited Inawa Institute to update the digital database of the ASG from existing computerized systems in the five communes (Bembéréké, N’Dali, Kalalé, Tchaourou) of intervention of the project in Benin.
Indeed, from September 10 to 27, 2021, the Inawa Institute team worked with the Heads of the Department of Land and Environmental Affairs (C/Sade) of five communes involved in updating their digital databases and dashboards in the EGes version 2.0 application. This mission facilitated the evaluation and global monitoring of the ProPFR.
As a reminder, the ProPFR is a project of the GIZ SEWOH initiative that has been accompanying the securing of households in Borgou since 2016. Its global objective is to improve access to land, as a prerequisite for the fight against poverty and hunger in rural areas, among vulnerable groups, particularly women, herders, and migrants.
